Easier Pinterest Pin It Method (Using Add-Ons)

We all love Pinterest and can't get enough of how much we have to pin everything. One thing I did find a little tedious at times is having to use their Pin it button. For simple pins here and there it's straightforward. Basically I decided to scope around for something a little more intuitive and quick to pin. I noticed Firefox and Chrome have a few extensions/addons that are pretty suitable for pinning.

If you currently use Firefox web browser, there's one addon that is easy and quick to the pin. All you have to do is install the addon and it gives you the ability to just right click and pin any image you see on a website. Why is this better? Well, first there wasn't many offered on the Firefox addon, and the other one I tried, (there was only 2 available last time I checked) was not as efficient. The Google Chrome had many extensions available already and what I found the most suitable was the one I'm currently using.

My Recommendations

Firefox add-on: Pinterest Right Click - It's simple, you right click on an image and you'll see the "Pin Image" with Icon

Chrome add-on: Pinterest Pro - Right click any image from a website, hover over images on Pinterest and it'll instantly zoom (I found this can be annoying too at times, so I ended up turning it off), popular pin dropdown where you can see a random list of popular pins from the browser toolbar.

I'm sure as time goes by there may be better ones available, but these are probably the easiest to use. I didn't like the fact that when I'm on a website and I wanted to pin multiple images it'll transition to a pin display and I'd have to repeat that process again. I've noticed it also juices up a lot more memory on the browser too, so eventually if you're a pin addict you're browser/computer will start to slow down.

Why you should join Pinterest

One of the biggest talks lately has been Pinterest. It has been talked about recently over and over again, why? It's the fastest growing social community site in history. The addiction to Pinterest is just overwhelming. It's easy to use and it's more friendly than using Tumblr. Some of the late gamers jumping on now are businesses. What they don't realize is that it caters towards online stores! Really easy and intuitive. It's also a bonus for SEO which is why some of the key players in the marketing industry have utilized this powerful growing social site before it's too late.

Everyday ModSession searches for the next popular social media site, yes...this is it everyone. It can't really get any easier than this for now. I'm sure it will only continue to improve as Pinterest tries to keep up with the popular demand.

Currently, the only way to join Pinterest is to be on a waiting list. Typically, it takes about 1-2 weeks to get accepted from what I remember. However, once accepted, you will be able to send invites to other friends so they don't have to painfully wait to get their Pin-the-board fix.

For businesses, learn to accomplish the best SEO on Pinterest as well as your general interaction with your other social media networks. Treat Pinterest the same as you would with Twitter, Facebook, G+ or Tumblr and you will gain the followers you need in no time.
